Zaha Hadid started by injecting a new level of dynamism into architecture. Her works has been explosive, fluid and boundless - forcefully questioning the need for urban fortification in her drive to establish a continuous, active ground plane. The fragments of the exploded built volumes were drifting across this agitated ground, seemingly defying  gravity. Behind this spatial exuberance lies the real need to organize multiple, dynamic programmes within dense urban contexts.

자하 하디드의 건축은 새로운 역동성을 주입하는 데서 시작됐다. 그녀의 작업들은 폭발성, 유동성, 무한성을 내포하고 있다. 즉, 도시 축성은 강한 탐구욕을 필요로 하며 이러한 연속적인 활동은 그녀의 대지 조성을 이루게 하는 근간이다. 건축 볼륨의 파편화한 부분들은 마치 중력을 무시하듯 동요된 대지 위를 서로 부유한다. 이 충만한 공간 속에는 조밀한 도시 컨텍스트가 실제 필요로 하는 다양한 조직성, 동적 프로그램이 숨어 있다.
