One of the major issues occupied in architectural design is often referred

to as compe. In other words, the design competition is not only the

entrance gate for new architects, but also a great opportunity to create a

historic project of a competent architect. Recently, in Korea, competitions

are being carried out predominantly mainly in small-scale government

buildings. Therefore, in Design & Details No. 106, we focus on smallscale

design competitions. Edited. The winning works introduced this

time tried to effectively express the design process through highquality

presentations. Therefore, it is hoped that the changes in Korean

architectural design can be grasped at a glance and become a good

resource for creating new ideas.

건축 설계에서 차지하는 주요한 이슈중 하나로 흔히 콤페를 말한다. 즉 설계경기는 신인건

축가의 등용문일 뿐만아니라 역량있는 건축가의 역사적인 프로젝트를 창조할 수 있는 좋은

기회이다. 최근 한국에서는 소규모 관급 건물 위주로 콤페가 할발하게 진행되고 있다. 이에

디자인 & 디테일 106호에서는 작은 규모의 설계경기 위주로 취재 . 편집하였다. 이 번에 소

개된 당선작들은 높은 퀄리티의 프리젠테이션을 통하여 디자인 프로세스가 효과적으로 표

현하려고 노력하였다. 따라서 한국 건축디자인의 변화를 한 눈에 파악할 수 있으며, 새로

운 아이디어를 창출하는 좋은 자료가 되기를 바란다.
